PPP UK and Ireland says fare thee well Komla Dumor

Progressive people’s party uk and ireland says fare thee well komla dumor

THE PASSING AWAY OF A BRILLIANT SON OF GHANA, KOMLA DUMOR HAS TOUCHED THE HEARTS OF GHANAIANS AND INDEED AFRICANS FOR THE GOOD JOB HE DID SO WELL FOR THE BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATION (BBC) HERE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AS A HOST OF THE BBC FOCUS ON AFRICA. PRIOR TO THAT, KOMLA WAS A BROADCASTER WITH JOY FM IN GHANA WHERE HE PERFORMED WITH EXCELLENCE.
Komla raised the journalistic bar in Ghana and to this day, there are colleagues and others out there who strive to emulate him. This in itself is a blueprint legacy Komla has left for the Ghanaian and indeed, the African Journalist. In effect, Komla actualised himself in the field of journalism in Ghana and we are so proud of this intelligent talent.
Komla Dumor would have faced challenges as in any other profession but he persisted on insisting on his raison d’etre, to answer his critics without confrontation and this approach enabled him to face his challenges squarely and continued to work as hard as ever to the end. As we mourn our late brother and friend, we wish his wife and children, together with the extended families God’s guidance, protection and blessings as they go through this very difficult period.
We cannot stop the hand of time or live again the past, but we will love and think of Komla Dumor as our lives last.
PPP-UK & Ireland says, “Fare Thee Well, Komla”.
