It was an evening full of evangelical outreach in the city of Almere – Flevoland in the Netherlands.

As the holy bible in the Book of Romans, the apostle Paul says, "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ" (Romans. 10:17).

Paul makes it clear that it is not enough just to love and care for people; we are called to communicate the life-changing message of Jesus Christ to each and every person.

Perez Chapel International in the Netherlands over the weekend kick start a three days activity in commemoration of their second branch in one of Hollands major city; Almere–Flevoland.

The theme of the anniversary celebration was ‘Grace for greater works’. In his sermon to launch the anniversary, Rev. N.K. Ankomah presiding minister for the Netherlands Branch and also serves as the general commandant for Perez Chapel International branches in Europe explained the meaning of ‘Grace’ and the context of doing greaters works for God. He used Jesus as primary example of grace by describing Jesus as someone full of grace and because of his fullness we as believers are able to receive his grace.

“We have, indeed, come far both in spiritual and physical growth of the Perez Chapel International in the Netherlands and our focus is to move on in our mandate in evangelism to win more souls because God can make all grace abound to you to make you great wherever you are in life.,” Rev. N.K. Ankomah remarked.

In his opening remarks the pastor in-charge of Perez Chapel International Almere Victor Anyetei Patterson acknowledged the founder and the leader of Perez Chapel International Dr. Bishop Charles Agyinasare for his foresight vision of setting up a faith based organization and institute which globally has impacted positive life on todays generation, build spiritual empowerment communities as well as establishing education institution and foundation to boost knowledge via physical attainment and spirirtual growth.

Pastor Victor Patterson continued by explaining how the ministry of the Presiding Bishop was birthed in the city of Amsterdam.

Perez Chapel International then known as Word Miracle Church International, started their first church for almost 20 years ago and by the guidance of the Lord and under the leadership and direction of results-oriented minister of God, Rev. N.K. Ankomah who took over in 2008, the church has been able to acquire its own church property and start a new church branch in the city Almere.

According to Rev. N.K. Ankomah nowadays it has been a common trend in churches that many Christians do not see the importance of servanthood and humility. Knowing that our almighty father is a God of principles and covenant.

He called for the teaching of humility and servanthood in the modern day church as many fail to understand the importance of servanthood and humility which through that one can become great and receive grace to do greater works for God.

Rev. N.K. Ankomah encouraged and enlightened the congregants to learn on how to serve in any capacity which will be the yardstick signal of a great person since our saviour laid down his life for humankind to be free from bondage

‘’The more humble you are the more God will exalt you. So, therefore, let us learn to be humble, to serve and show the world more of the greater works that Jesus our Lord spoke of,’’ said Rev. N.K. Ankomah.
