Second Evacuation Of Ghanaians From Lebanon

Process to evacuate a second group of Ghanaians from possible harms way in Lebanon is on its final stages. Information released from the Ghana Consulate in Beirut on Wednesday, August 9 to the Ghanaian Community said documentations of about thirty Ghanaians who willingly registered with the Consulate for evacuation are completed.

The statement also said the Ghana government in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) which is facilitating the evacuation has confirmed that, departure from Beirut to Syria will take place on Saturday, August 12 at 6:30 am local time.

The statement however did not indicate as to when departure from Syria to Ghana will take place.
