“THE DISTINGUISHED TONGUES EVENT SERIES”

March 30, 2011, The National Ghana Parade Council launches “The Distinguished
Tongues Event Series” at Nectar Wine Bar at 2235 Fredrick Douglas Blvd@121st St.
New York, N.Y. 10027 from 5:00p.m. -9:00pm.

"The Distinguished Tongues Event Series" is a series of events where ambitious
young professionals of the beautiful kingdoms of Africa can come together to
talk culture, business, politics while networking and building new relationships
at upscale venues.

Our launch event ... “Distinguished Tongue Event Series: Networking/ Book
Signing Soiree” is a fundraiser for the organization’s Kwame Nkrumah: Leaders of
Tomorrow Scholarship Fund.
Part of the mission of The National Ghana Parade Council is to develop and
maintain alliances with other African communities in the greater New York City
Area.

In keeping true to our mission the “Distinguished Tongues Event Series" was born
in January 2010.

Why Distinguished Tongues?
The "Distinguished Tongues Event Series" represents the unique culture, various
dialects, and language variations of the beautiful people of the KINGDOMS in
AFRICA.

Our GOAL is to bring African Professionals with their "Distinguished Tongues"
together ....in order to speak one language....AFRICAN PROGRESS!

The National Ghana Parade Council will be hosting several events throughout the
year leading up to the “main event” (Ghana Parade 2011) and thereafter, where
ambitious young professionals of the beautiful kingdoms of Africa can come
together to talk culture, business, politics while networking and building new
relationships at upscale venues.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to support the Kwame Nkrumah: New Leaders
of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund.
