The Virginia branch of the Victory Bible Church International on Sunday climaxed a three day power packed 6th anniversary with the ordination of new Pastors, elders, deacons and deaconesses in their Lorton Living Word Assembly Auditorium.
Preaching the sermon on Sunday October 14th, Bishop Nii A. Tackie-Yarboi admonished the members to seek the anointing of God since it is effective for service and that it becomes the contact point through which great things are manifested in the minister’s life. He admonished the new leaders to be selfless in their devotion to God and offer themselves as living sacrifices for the course for which they have been called.
The U.S.A Sector Overseer of the Church, Rev. Elijah Obiba Saforo commended the new leaders for the hard work toward sustaining the ministry over the period of 6 years. He said” I am very grateful to God, to all our dedicated and committed ministers and partners whose efforts and support together have brought the Victory Bible Church International’s vision this far”
Rev. Daniel Somuah one of the newly ordained Pastors expressed his appreciation to the entire congregation and the General Overseer for the honor and pledged that he would not relent in his efforts to sacrifice for the ministry.
The newly ordained ministers included Mrs. Chinery, Larry Ofosuhene, and Mr. and Mrs. Somuah.
On the occasion marking the sixth anniversary of the Church, the Presiding Bishop anointed each and every member of the Church and congratulated the entire Church for achieving the milestone. The Church also outdoored new Choir robes for the singing ministry.
