United Volta Association donates food to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx

Members of the United Volta Association in New York on June 19, 2020, donated food to the Jacobi Medical Center here in the Bronx to show their appreciation and support to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the President of United Volta Association, Mrs. Perl Setranah, the donation was to show their appreciation to the health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and she hoped the hospital staff will accept the donation as a thank you for what they are doing on behalf of the New York community.

The donation was received by Betty Rodriguez a Director at Jacobi Medical Center. Expressing her appreciation, she said, "I just want to thank you for the donation we appreciate it and this kind of gesture shows how you appreciate what they do for our patients and our community."
