Bronx New York -- Natives of the Upper East Region of Ghana, comprising all the districts (BOLGATANGA, BAWKU, NAVRONGO, SANDEMA, and CHIANA-PAGA) resident in the tria-state corridor and the diaspora spent time together to enjoy the thanksgiving occasion in the United States.
The occasion was marked with traditional dance and music, native foods and a well -stocked bar generously provided by the proprietor Mr. Sam Amoah in an elegant cool and cozy club-like environment. The objectives of the association include the need to identify our members in the United States, extend help to them where appropriate, help them to assimilate seamlessly within the communities, handle the needs of new immigrants and also identify and participate in micro development projects in Ghana.
Members travelled from New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York to grace the occasion and meet regularly on the last Sunday of every month at 598 Grand Concourse, Bronx NY 10451.All residents of Upper East in the United States are encouraged to make contact and actively participate in order to foster unity and encourage self-development.
