“You can disagree without being disagreeable”

Organiser Tells NPP Youth

Mr Kwaku Anane-Gyinde, National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party in Germany has reminded the Youth of the party that they have a duty to protect and promote the good image and unity of the party at all times.

Addressing a meeting of NPP Youth Activists from Universities across Germany in Berlin over the weekend, Mr Anane-Gyinde urged them to desist from acts and utterances that go to undermine party unity and cohesion.

He noted what makes the NPP unique and different from other parties is that it believes in and indeed encourages internal competition and contest of ideas but this should not degenerate into mudslinging and vilification saying “You can disagree without being disagreeable”.

According to him Ghanaians are yearning for the NPP to return to power in 2016 because the Mahama led government has not only failed to manage the economy, but it has become a government of robbers and a looting brigade whose incompetence has turned the lives of ordinary Ghanaians into misery and abject poverty.
Mr Anane-Gyinde said as the largest political party in the country, the NPP particularly the Youth should expend their time and energies in exposing the incompetence, the ineptitude, and the lack of direction, policy incoherence and the unprecedented level of corruption that has characterised the NDC government.
He pointed out that apart from exposing the failures of the Mahama administration, it is equally important to explain to Ghanaians that the NPP has superior policies, more comprehensive programmes and are better managers of the economy as demonstrated in 2001-2008.
On his part the National Youth Organiser of NPP-Germany Mr Joe-Luis Sakyi announced that the first Tescon Chapter of NPP-Germany will be inaugurated in Berlin during this summer. He disclosed that consultations are under way to establish Tescon Chapters in various German Universities including Cotbus, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Cologne, Bonn, Bayreuth, Hannover, Dusseldorf and Munich.
Mr Sakyi gave the assurance that the Youth of the Party are determined to play their part in ensuring that the party is returned to power in 2016 so as to salvage the country from the current economic mess into which the failed NDC government has plunged it.
