In a massive show of support that signifies the wind of change blowing through the Essikado Ketan Constituency in the Western Region, thousands of Ghanaians turned up for the Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah Walk for Change.

The event on Sunday, November 10, 2024, saw a huge crowd of enthusiastic constituents who have embraced the message of hope and development in the constituency, which, in the view of the residents, has seen no significant upgrade despite years of voting for the New Patriotic Party.

Amid music and dancing, the constituents, with different placards and chants, affirmed their belief in Professor Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah as the 'saviour' of the constituency who has the well-being of the people at heart.

Addressing the crowd at the end of the walk, Professor Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah assured them of massive development in the constituency should they vote for her and John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress.

Professor Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah reminded the constituents of the need to vote for the NDC, as the NPP, which they have historically voted for, has failed to address their problems.

She disclosed that she has undertaken many developmental projects in her personal capacity and that a victory for her and the NDC will see an expansion and extension of these projects, making Essikado Ketan one of the most developed areas in the country.

On her part, the National Women’s Organizer of the NDC, Dr. Hannah Bissiw, criticized the NPP for what she views as the persistent betrayal of the trust of the Essikado Ketan people.

Dr. Hannah Bissiw noted that while the NPP has been paying lip service to the issues of the people, the NDC will walk the talk and bring development and employment to the area.

She urged the constituents to embrace the wind of change blowing in the country by voting for Professor Dr. Ayensu Danquah and John Mahama.

The walk was also graced by Western Regional executives as well as constituency executives of Essikado Ketan.
