'G-Force Stars' Album Launched

Audience at the launch of 'Faith In The Black Stars', the definitive debut album of G-Force could not hide the enjoyment of the musical experience as some of the songs were being played at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.

The album is a creation of a song dedicated to the Black Stars to motivate them to participated successfully in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

The music is a rich blend of R and B and hiphop with Twi from the cultural African sounds of the bongo to the modern day western sounds of the guitar. Music that all who hear it, naturally move their legs or at least a part of the body anytime it is being played.

It contains nine songs including 'seed of inspiration' (intro), 'We Go Go (Ye Be Ko)', 'My One and Only', 'Party', 'Serve Africa', 'Ghana Mma', 'AIDS is Real', 'Mere Duniya' and 'We Go Go remix', bonus track.

G-Force, is the very intelligent and fun-loving brainchild of DJ Dr. Jay (Jason Mohan) and Killa Sniff (Vinay Gokals) who conceived the idea in the year 200 at the age of 10 and 11 years.

In this debut album, Jay and Sniff have chosen to collaborate with the talents of MC Master P, Fish and Funky Boi Roy, create a truly vibrant and multi-cultural experience.

Jason Mohan in a short speech urged all to have faith since it is the foundation of life. "When you have faith, you will never drown", he said.

Launching the album, Mr. Albert Agbozo, Director, Sports Division, Ministry of Education and Sports who stood in for Deputy Minister, Mr. O. B. Amoah, congratulated the G-Force, for their expedition into the music world by creating a song dedicated to the Black Stars to motivate them to participate successfully in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

He cautioned individuals and groups of persons not to capitalize on the magnanimity and exploit the opportunity to their advantage which would negatively dampen the passion, expectations and morale of Ghanaians.

Mr. Agbozo pledge his ministry's support in the organization of such events with the objective of promoting national unity and exploring avenues to source funds for the development of sports, especially football in the country.

"Failure is not defeat and defeat propels you to persevere ambitiously to ultimately become a winner and a champion. We can hold onto the social philosophy to ensure that the Black Stars advance in their group as a debutant in the 2006 World cup".
