Ghanaian dancehall musician Stonebwoy has stated that a remix of his new "Jejereje" song with hiplife artiste Screwfaze wouldn’t be commercially beneficial for him.

In an interview on Onua Showtime on November 3, 2024, Stonebwoy explained that while he plans to collaborate with other musicians on the track, the "Gbalagazaa" hitmaker would be more appealing to fans than financially beneficial.

"I have heard people talking about the fact that I should have a remix of the "Jejereje" song with Screwfaze. It is a good idea but adding him to the song would not add any commercial to the song. It would only be for its niceness," he said.

Stonebwoy also mentioned that Screwfaze could have created his own version of the song without needing to be approached.

"If the song sparked the energy of a legend, the only thing he could have done was to do a version of the beat without being asked to. I don't have to reach out to him. We have plans and we can't go against them," he added.

The BHIM Nation boss’ comments echo a similar statement made by MC Portfolio, a member of his camp, who also asserted that remixing "Jejereje" with Screwfaze wouldn’t make business sense.

Earlier, MC Portfolio stated that featuring Nigerian singer Flavour N’abania or Ivory Coast’s Freddy Meiway would make a greater impact and provide "Jejereje" with more international attention.

Stonebwoy released the much-anticipated track "Jejereje" in September 2024, featuring guitarist Ginton.

The song is part of his ‘Up & Coming’ album and has already garnered over 1.6 million views on YouTube.
