The year is only a few weeks shy of ending and everywhere one looks, there are feverish preparations to end it in grand styles. It is in this vein that MTN and Charterhouse once again prepare to brighten up the Christmas celebrations with the most popular comedy series; the Night of 1000 Laugh’s and Music.
This time round, the organizers are going to stage the Night of 1015 Laughs and Music first in Accra and then Kumasi. Hosting the hilarious event in Kumasi will spread the fun and laughter that the comedy series is associated with to as many people as possible during this yuletide seasons.
The date for the Accra event is the Boxing Day December 26, 2012 at the Dome and on the December 29, 2012 in Kumasi at the Georgia Hotel. This will be the first time that the Night of
1015 Laughs and Music is being held in the Ashanti Regional Capital-Kumasi. If the track record of the comedy series, as recorded in Accra and recently in Takoradi, is anything to go by then one can expect nothing but top rate entertainment that will leave patrons panting for more.
The 1000 laughs series always guarantee patrons a good time as the stand-up comedians who are billed to perform are always top of the list comedians understand the comedy business. This time round the comedians expected to deliver the high rate of rib cracking comedy include Ghana’s own Funny Face.
The rest include the beautiful Helen Paul who gave a spectacular performance at the 1012 edition of the Laughs. Returns again to the 1000 Laughs stage is Elenu who also gave a good account of himself during the 1014 edition and the very funny Emeka Smith.
The comedian Pencil will be making a debut on the Ghanaian stage during the 1015 Laughs both in Accra and Kumasi. Although the list of musicians who will be performing is yet to be released, one can expect that they will be high rate performers who will live up to the bill.
The 1015 laughs and music is an absolute “must” attend for all show. The Night of 1015 Laughs and Music in Accra and Kumasi will be an awesome way to end the 2012.
