12-year-old Lololi talks about her ripped clothing line

Lololi Quashiga, a 12-year-old fashion designer is standing up for her generation on the style front to create clothes they feel comfortable in.

Quashiga launched her brand, ‘Rock of Ages’ on Saturday April 18, 2015, with a fashion show and has had rave reviews from her peers and industry players who attended the event.

The first-year Junior high school student of Queensland International School in Accra, told Starrfmonline.com the show will become an annual event marked on the fashion calendar.

“My clothes are for the youth. I want them to wear clothes they like, clothes that make them feel comfortable” she said.

Lololi does a special kind of clothes. She rips T-shirts and jeans for the hip fashionista.

“I started doing this when I was like 7-years old. I would take my t-shirts and just tear them apart in a fashionable way. My mum was getting angry all the time but now I guess she doesn’t anymore.”

She said she looks up to her elder brother whose fashion sense fascinates her imaginations.

“My inspiration is my elder brother Kekeli. He is 17, a photographer and he has a great fashion sense,” she said.
