Ghana’s Female celebrities who were ‘mocked’ on social media for their extravagant dresses during the just ended 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) have been nominated to receive 1000 Euros Shopping Vouchers each from Eurostar Global Limousine.
Contrary to the heavy criticisms amidst their photos which were likened to the popular cartoon ‘Teletubies’, their dresses have attracted the attention of the luxury car rental company.
Four of the stars compared to ‘Teletubies’ include: Berla Mundi, Zynnell Zuh, Bibi Bright and Nana Ama Mcbrown.
Benedicta Gafah was also lashed out for her transparent jumpsuit.
However, ten of these celebrities who graced the red carpet have been tipped for the mouth watering prizes.
They include: Berla Mundi, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Bibi Bright, Gloria Sarfo, Amanda Jissih, Zynnell Zuh, Feli Nuna, Benedicta Gafah, Edem Fairre and Selly Galley-Fiawo.
The President and Executive Chairman of Eurostar Global Limousine Group and Chairman of Ghana Fashion Review Panel for Red Carpet in Ghana Mr Oscar Yao Doe, rubbished claims that the nominees dresses’ were too loud saying their creative appearances conform international standards.
‘People must take fashion and appearances seriously because image is everything in showmanship,” he advised.
Ghana Fashion Review is the Official Sponsors of the 2017 VGMAs red carpet female category nominees.
