The Bunso Eco Park in the Abuakwa South Municipality won big at the 2024 Eastern Regional Tourism Awards held at the Baca Hotel and Event Centre in Koforidua.

The facility was adjudged Visitor Attraction of the Year, surpassing others to clinch the award.

The General Manager, Mr. Kenneth Asare Frimpong was also adjudged the Site Guide of the Year at the event.

Speaking to the media after the event, Mr. Asare Frimpong attributed the success to hard work, innovation, and creativity which have always been the hallmark of the facility over the years of existence.

He indicated that management is keen on developing new ideas and innovations to ensure the facility remains relevant at all times to tourists.

He mentioned canopy walk, Zipline, kids zone, horseback riding, adults wing, nature and cocoa tour, tourist site, swimming pool (biggest in the region), and many others as services the facility provides to both local and international visitors.

He assured tourists of his outfit's continuous commitment to ensuring the facility provides world-class services and also brings on board other activities that will serve people's choices.
