4th edition of Male Icon Ghana audition slated for Sept. 20

The 4th edition of Ghana’s only intellectual male pageant, Male Icon Ghana will take off on Saturday, September 20, 2014 with a grand audition at the premises of XFM at Osu in Accra at 10am prompt.

A judging panel will shortlist Dubbed 'the search for the perfect gentleman', 10 lucky young men between the ages of 18 and 29 for the grand finale of the event slated for November 2014 in Accra.

The event seeks to empower young men with a desire to excel in life by encouraging them to be positive role models in the community.

Unlike previous years, contestants will be tasked to present social projects they wish to tackle should they win the competition in association with ‘save the world movement’ (NGO) with a focus on the fight against HIV/AIDS in the country.

The current reigning Icon is Nana Yaw Amponsah, a graduate of Jayee University College merged winner at last year’s event at a keenly contested finals at the National Theatre.

Potential contestants can download an audition form at www.maleiconghana.com or facebook.com/maleiconghanapageant and follow the instructions given.
