5 Ghanaian pastors whose credibility can't be questioned

It is never easy to be a Man of God. And especially in this part of the world where people are very critical about what religion should entail, it takes a lot of effort to keep one’s reputation intact.

For pastors, though, having a credible name and an unquestionable character is very key in determining your status in society.

Unfortunately for some Ghanaian pastors, controversy upon controversy in the media have taken a hit on their reputations. Without even mentioning names, it is obvious that some pastors have lost public respect due to certain scandals they were involved or even certain utterances they made. But there are also others who have maintained a clean record, and continue to go about their religious duties without any blemish.

Here are five Ghanaian pastors whose credibility remain very much intact.

1.Rev Emmanuel Asante

Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante is the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana. He was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel as far back as in 1986 and he has continued to serve through the ranks to his current status. He is currently the Chairman of the National Peace Council, with his will to inspire people an attribute admired by many. He is also one of the most respected men of God in the country, as he is without any questionable reputation.



2. Rev. Eastwood Anaba

Founder of the Eastwood Anaba Ministries, Rev. Eastwood Anaba, has gained a reputation as one of the most accommodating men of God in the country. Rev. Anaba has most-often stayed away from the media, and only speaks when necessary. He has also not been involved in any controversy or scandal to put his reputation at risk.



3. Apostle Opoku Onyinah

Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah is the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost worldwide. He has been in ministry for the past three decades, having served under various units. He is also currently the President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC). His works both in Ghana and abroad have made him a well-respected man, whose personality inspires many.



4.Most Reverend Charles Gabriel Palmer-Buckle

Most Rev. Charles Gabriel Palmer-Buckle is a Catholic Bishop in Ghana. He actually serves as the head of all Catholic churches in Accra. The Archbishop is one of the most endearing men of God in the country, with his jovial nature attracting many to him. He is also a very open person who rarely speaks on matters that are bound to stir controversy. R



5. Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare

Founder of the World Miracle Church International, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare is a figure who readily comes to mind when respected men of God are being discussed. The Bishop is also involved in the writing of inspirational books, and rarely pokes his nose in trivial issues that could taint his reputation.
