Musician and comedian, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus has disclosed that his greatest fear in life is to make people have the perception that he thinks he is better than them.
The social activist explaining why he fires shots at brands on his Facebook wall said he never does so until such brands fail to give customers value for money.
He indicated that the act seems to portray the customer as inferior, something he will not be silent over.
“My greatest fear in life is to make my fellow man feel that I’m more important than him. So where I deal with people, until you cross the line, I’m cool. I don’t want to give anybody the perception that I’m bigger than them,” he said on Hitz FM’s The Profiler, Sunday.
A-Plus pointed out that it was time brands recognised that they cannot operate without customers and as such, people who keep their business moving deserve to be treated with dignity.
“There are so many brands in Ghana who don’t care about people. And immediately I see that, I will come after you. You can’t take people’s money to run your business without having the feeling that we are giving you the money,” he stated.
A-Plus is known for composing songs on political and social issues. Among his works are Freedom of Speech I & 2, Agye gon, Letter to Parliament, Letter to the West, Yesterday’s Today’s Tomorrow.
The controversial figure is on record to have said that his works go through the hands of intellectuals for scrutiny before they are released as he desires to produce songs with content.
