Self-proclaiming dancehall king of Ghana and latest Zylofon Media signee, Charles Nii Armah Mensa, popularly known as Shatta Wale has taken a swipe at some men of God and also made some scathing revelations.
Speaking in a self-recorded video which was uploaded on his Facebook account, the “Taking Over” hitmaker bemoaned the rate at which religious people were using ‘dubious’ means to make money.
He added that many Ghanaians were peace-loving and did not want to come out to criticize some men of God for fear of being tagged as witches or wizards. The “Ayoo” song maker revealed that the separation between his parents was caused by a pastor.
He said it was not his will to become a ‘street child’ but his fate was decided by a pastor.
The Zylofon Music artiste said he had stopped going to church and would rather pay his tithe to people on the street instead of giving it to pastors to use to buy Range Rovers.
Shatta Wale said that some of the pastors did and said whatever they liked because they were exempted from paying taxes.
He said the biggest crime in Ghana was pastors because of some of the ‘evil’ things they were doing in the country.
The “Dem Confuse” song maker said many pastors have used God’s name to dupe many of their church members and followers.
He urged Christians to come out and expose such pastors who had enriched themselves out of lies.
Shatta Wale’s comments comes on the heels of some comments reported to have been made by some men of God over his life.
