About 50, 000 people attended the ‘Top of the World Celebrations’ in Accra

History was made in Ghana over the weekend with an amazing crowd attendance of about 50, 000 people coming out in their numbers to see Nigerian music super group, P-Square, along dancehall king, Samini (who replaced the 'annoyed' R2Bees who pulled out last minute over the huge disparity between their performance fee and that of the Nigerian stars) and BET award and two time GMA winner, Sarkodie the Obidiponbidi, at the ‘Top of the World Celebrations' in Accra.

It was an awesome sight to behold as the crowd wasn’t bored from start to finish with countless of songs performed among the super-duper stars billed for the night.

The absence of R2Bees wasn’t felt one bit as their lose was Samini’s gain. For those who attended, they will agree with us that this is probably one of the best shows ever organized in Ghana. And as for those who were at the VIP stands, it was a ‘good night’ as there were plenty to drink and eat.

More also, the concert witnessed the performance of the special Flash mob dance by professional dancers and members of the public who entered to be a part of the Flash mob via Facebook. There were also performances by the Hip Life group D2, Heroes, winners of the 2012 Malta Guinness Street Dance competition, and Strongman, winner of the maiden edition of the Next Big Thing Hip Hop talent hunt.

The free concert was organized by Malta Guinness to unveil the new look of the fortified malt drink. The new bottle is elongated to hold 330 ml of liquid, 10 percent more than before. It was ushered in with fireworks and free sampling for revelers.
