Rabby Ewarabena Bray captured the hearts of many Ghanaians when she released her first self-produced movie, ‘The Black Sheep’, which became an instant chat-topping movie in the cinemas.
But for 2019, the actress who doubles as a real estate consultant has taken on her newest role, not in a movie or television show, but in the business world as she collaborates with Netherlands-based beauty company – Teshura Styling – owned by celebrity stylist Viola Sarkodee to debut her own eyelash brand dubbed ‘Rabby Bray by Teshura.’
At a glittering soiree in Accra, the renowned Ghanaian actress said the luxurious eyelash was carefully made with the African woman of style and class in mind.
According to her, the idea came about when they realised the various eyelashes imported into the country and Africa as a whole are not made to suit the face of the African woman. In their bid to have something tailored for the African market, they came up with ‘Rabby Bray by Teshura.’
Answering the question of how ‘Rabby Bray by Teshura’ is different from the rest, Ewurabena Bray said one key advantage of owning her lash is its reusability.
“Unlike the other brands, ‘Rabby Bray by Teshura’ can be washed and used over and over again. It’s very durable,” she stated.
Though the product is yet to hit the mass market, one can order some online via the actress’ social media handles.
The launch which was held at the Royal Beulah Hotel in East Legon, Accra, on Saturday April 27, 2019 was graced by the press and friends within the movie industry.
