Adjorlolo picks footballer role

Popular veteran actor Kofi Adjorlolo challenges Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan in his comeback movie, Ghana Must Go, produced by well-liked actress Yvonne Okoro.

The actor is playing the role of a footballer in the upcoming refined comedy which stars some of Africa’s adoring faces.

Among the cast are Nollywood’s comic actor Nkem Owoh popularly called Osuofia, Ike Ogbonna, Blossom Chukwujekwu and a host of others.

The movie, directed by Frank Rajah, wrapped up in Accra a couple of weeks ago.

On Tuesday producer Yvonne Okoro announced Kofi Adjorlolo as one of the cast of the movie.

“Asamoah Gyan ain’t got nothing on him, Kofi Adjorlolo…,” she said.

High expectations await Ghana Must Go, which is Yvonne’s second produced movie after her first, Contract, in 2012.

Contract was directed by Shirley Frimpong Manso and was later released on DVD.
