It has emerge that Sugardem GH, a brand known in the public domain to be spearheaded by Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim lady was stolen.

Allegedly, TV presenter Afia Pokuaa, used her popularity and fame to outsmart one Nana Ama Asantewaa Kwarkor who begun the initiative late last year.

Nana Ama Asantewaa Kwarkor, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Modern Women of Wisdom International, is said to have formed the group ‘Sugardemministries’ in 2017 and has over 23,000 followers on Facebook.

Vim Lady allegedly agreed to join the ‘Sugardemministries’ on air on Monday February 5, 2018 during the Kasiebo is Tasty midday news, when Nana Ama Asantewaa sent her a message introducing herself as the leader of ‘Sugardemministries’.

Sources say Vim Lady was added to Sugardemministries’s page, only for her to notify the members a day to her program that her Sugardem is different from theirs and that she formed hers before theirs was formed.

A Whatsapp chat between Vim lady and Nana Ama Asantewaa revealed she Nana Ama Asantewaa masterminded the whole idea which Vim Lady has used her fame, popularity and the platform provided her to allegedly steal by just adding ‘GH’ to it to differentiate.

Below is the Whatsapp communication between Nana Ama Asantewaa and Vim Lady to authenticate the story:

Nana Ama Asantewaa seems not enthused with the whole development as she feels back stabbed by the famous radio and TV personality.

There has been a raging debate between two feminist groups Sugardem GH and Pepper Dem Ministries over roles of women in modern Ghana.

The Pepper Dem Ministries, formed in 2017, is popular for its radical views on the role of women in the home and in the workplace.

It is reported to have stated it is not the duty of women to prepare meals for their husbands.

But the Sugardem GH is advocating there is nothing wrong with women cooking for men but a step in the right direction.
