‘Akiller’ of "Things We Do For Love" Directs Third Movie In USA

Abeiku Nana Acquah, popularly known as ‘Akiller’ in the rested TV series, ‘Things We Do For Love’, is raising Ghana’s flag high in the USA, where he is currently directing his third movie.

Though details of the movie are yet to be made public, NEWS-ONE sources say the new project features actors from neighbouring African countries, Europe and the America and he is hopeful to make an impact with the movie.

Abeiku Aquah started acting as boy and has been described as one of Ghana’s longest serving actors. He came into the limelight at age 16 when he appeared in a popular television series, ‘Police Officer’.

He subsequently appeared in award-winning movies including ‘Scent Of Danger’ which won an award in the 1998 at Fest Space Film Festival. Later, he was featured in the TV series ‘Things We Do For Love’ in early 2000 with Jackie Appiah, Majid Michel, Adjetey Annang and many others.

His role in the series was one most youth at the time still remember. He is also well-remembered for his role in Sparrow Production’s ‘A Sting In A Tale’.

The late iconic movie figure Godwin Niikoi Kotey was his mentor and inspirer. Now based in the US, Abeiku Acquah has featured in several movies and series there, some of which include ‘Is-real, Harlem’ (a popular American TV series).
