We love our celebrities and we cannot help but adore their gorgeous costumes. In Ghana, one artist that comes into mind when we talk of fashion is Akoo Nana. Known as the ‘Classic Man’, Akoo Nana takes music and fashion to a whole new level with his clean cut stunning suits accessorized to turn heads wherever he shows his face.

With a unique sense of style, he makes a conscious effort to look formal and on point for his appearances and has over the years earned a good reputation as the best dressed artist in Ghana. This fact is confirmed in a new set of stunning pictures from his recent photoshoot.

Known in real life as William Ato Ankrah, he is a Ghanaian Hiplife artist born on 7th july,1982 and a native of Anomabo in the Central Region of Ghana. He had his basic education at Hamdala School in Nigeria and his secondary education at ATTC and Motesco.

From an early stage, he had the flare for music and has pursued his interest ever since releasing his first album in 2007 titled ‘Afa’. Since then, he has released great hit songs such as ‘Mugu, ‘Mwaii’ and ‘Maa Abena’ and has featured such artists as Castro, Reggy Zippy, Praye among others. He featured Kcee and Harry song on ‘Bambala’, Stonebwoy on ´Pressure’ and Castro on Meyada Wo’.

He has performed at prestigious shows such as the 2011 Citi F.M’s December To Remember, Haiti Benefits Concert and many more. He won an award for ‘Music for Development’ at the 2012 Ghana Music Awards, a nomination for ‘Hiplife song of the Year, 2011 Ghana music Awards and a nomination for ‘Most Popular Song of the Year, at the 2013 Ghana Music Awards.

He is no doubt a pacesetter when it comes to fashion in the music industry and this is evident in his music videos such as his latest music video titled ‘Amponsah’.
