Prophet Kumchacha has labeled former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the worst president in the history of Ghana.

In an interview on Adom TV during the inauguration ceremony of President-elect John Dramani Mahama at the Black Star Square, Kumchacha stated that Akufo-Addo's tenure was disastrous for the country.

"We can all attest to the bad governance under Akufo-Addo's leadership. The whole world knows Nana Addo is the worst president in Ghana’s history. Today marks his final day in office, and that is why I am here. What is happening today is a tragedy. Akufo-Addo is Ghana’s greatest enemy. If you are told to look for the devil and you meet Nana Addo, you have found him," he said.

Kumchacha pointed out that the only positive development during Akufo-Addo’s tenure was his reconciliation with the late former president Jerry John Rawlings' family after years of tension.

He also criticised Akufo-Addo for spending $58 million on what he described as a 'swimming pool' in the effort to construct the National Cathedral.

"Under Akufo-Addo, the country has suffered. The only positive thing he did was, after Rawlings passed away, he started dancing with his wife at public events. And let’s not forget, he spent 58 million dollars to dig a swimming pool in the name of building a National Cathedral," Kumchacha added.

Looking ahead, Prophet Kumchacha expressed confidence that Ghana will experience significant improvement under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama.

"From today onwards, Ghanaians will witness a positive change in the next four years. Under the leadership of John Mahama, we will see a massive improvement," he concluded.
