The death of Ghanaian ace comedian Bob Okala known in real life as Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng seems to have touched the heart of most Ghanaian celebrities.

Some of the celebrities have taken to twitter, facebook and other social platforms to express their sorrow.

In her tweet, the award-winning actress, Women's Rights Activist, TV and Radio Personality, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, has also paid tribute to the late Ghanaian comedian Bob Okala.

Akumaa Mama Zimbi wrote: “Oh gosh, I just heard news from Ghana that the great Comedian Bishop Bob Okala is dead. May he rest in peace.”



Bishop Bob Okala collapsed on stage while performing at a programme organised by Joy Industries at Koforidua Jackson Park on Saturday and was confirmed dead at the Koforidua Government hospital Sunday dawn. He died at age 59.

He was a pioneer of the popular Key Soap Concert Party in the 90s.
