Akwasi Ampofo Adjei To Rest

The mortal remains of the late Akwasi Ampofo Adjei, alias A.A.A, was laid to rest at his hometown, Mprim, near Asante Manpong, after burial sermon at St. Paul?s Cathedral Church Ashanti Region.

The burial ceremony was officiated by Very Rev. Francis Asare Bediako, the Cathedral Administrator of the church. The late Akwasi Ampofo Adjei was the founder and leader of Kumapem Royals International Band, he died of cardiac arrest at the Komfo Anokye teaching Hospital (KATH) last month.

Preaching the sermon, the Very Rev. Francis Asare Bediako described the late Ampofo Adjei, as a hard working and selfless musician whose selfless devotion to duty and society needed to be emulated by his fellow musicians and other members of society.

He said the late A.A.A did not only devote all his career in music but was also regular at church services and was a devotee of Christ, and said it was an example worthy of emulation.

The burial ceremony was attended by a large number of mourners including musicians like Abrantee Amakye Dede, Nana Tuffour, Super O.D and many other sympathizers including his fans.

Tributes were also read on behalf of the family, wife, children and father.
