Akwasi Boateng Lambastes Gospel Musicians

His legendary Edward Akwasi Boateng who is well known in using the accordion in all his songs has lambasted some gospel musicians for their ingenuity.

The Evangelist cum gospel dude Akwasi Boateng made this statement when your authoritative Flex newspaper encountered him in an exclusive interview. According to him, most gospel musicians are being lazy, in that the rate at which they come out with the old songs are bad.

Edward Akwasi Boateng who has released hits upon hit tracks such as “Adea Me pe da wanim, Makomaso ade” and a host of others told Flex that if musicians will continue this way, it will not help the music industry but rather collapse the creativity and talent in it. That is why he has decided to advice them to at least reduce or put a stop to that.

“Have we ever asked ourselves what our grandchildren will come and feed on when we are gone If we continue to do this? If our ancestors had not toiled heavily to write those songs that are being used by these artistes today, how would they survive” he asked.

“Until gospel musicians seek the face of God and learn the Bible before they come out with their albums, this is what will always happen. They will reproduce the old songs that are already hits on their own.

Let`s also put down a legacy for future sake. The ministry of most gospel musicians have now become canal. They have allowed the flesh to take over the spirit.

If a gospel musician can go to the extent of charging before performing for a church's program, then men of God should understand what is going wrong. God be our helper ” he stated categorically. The latest from the camp of Akwasi Boateng is titled Bonhwa which is doing well home and abroad.
