Ama K Abebrese Protects Lover

‘Sinking Sands’ actress Ama K Abebrese says she would never give any information about the man warming her bed at a time when rumours are being peddled that she is climbing the bed of Black Stars player Kwadwo Asamoah. The actress would not respond to the issue and would not even give the usual ‘no comment’ as an answer.

It is not clear if her silence means consent. “I am not going to comment because if I do, it will lead to another question and then to another one. I don’t want that attention.

I just want to live my private life, she told News-One when asked who was dating. The actress, who appeared not ready for the issue, said she would simply not speak because it was her private life. When pushed to the wall on the Kwadwo Asamoah issue, she started blushing and in a jittery mood snapped back: “it is not true. I don’t like people talking about me but I know people will definitely talk about this.

But I can say it I not true. It is one of those things. All I have to say is that it is not true.” Ghanacelebrities.com first broke the story but said Ama discredited the rumour. The story did not give further details about how they met and other clues to justify why one should believe that there is something really going on between them. However, many people least expected Ama and Kwadwo Asamoah to be together, but it was not surprising, as lately actresses and footballers are ‘coping very well. Ama, who used to live in the UK, relocated to Ghana recently during the shooting of ‘Sinking Sands’. She has been in Ghana but nobody knows her amorous moves despite the fact that she has been spotted with actor Albert Kuvodu, popularly called Daavi oo Daavi, at some events.

The quest for who she is dating has begun and News-One believes Ama is preparing herself for any disturbances from the media like actresses Yvonne Nelson and Nadia Buari have been suffering. Ama Abebrese is also a consummate British presenter. She began training at Youth Culture Television in London, an organization started by Sabrina Guinness on the TV show, ‘Challenge Anneka.’ Due to her exploits, she became a presenter on BBC2 youth shows, ‘Pass Da Mic’ and the English Film’ educational series. She went on to become and is still a regular TV presenter on OBE TV.

She also hosts and produces a number of shows including ‘One Touch’ and entertainment chat show ‘On The Sofa’, on which she has interviewed guests like Akon and Ziggy Marley. In October this year, Ama won the Best Media Personality at the Ghana United Kingdom Based Achievement (GUBA) Awards for her excellence in the media. Ama started acting via stage at the age of 11.
