The Forecourt of the Nyarkoaba Nyarko yesterday night was set on fire when highlife King, Abrantie Amakye Dede thrilled guests with his classic hit songs that saw wild and exciting dance moves on the dance floor.
Fans were served with four (4) hours non-stop music by the legend.
Among the many highlights of the hugely successful and well patronized concert was the musician’s bold attempt with the English language. Amakye Dede unexpectedly interacted with the CEO of EIBNetwork, Nathaniel Adisi in English language instead of his more familiar Twi dialect.
In spite of some hits and misses, one thing that was clear in his speech was his appreciation of the support EIB Network gave him when he was involved in a fatal accident early this year.
A complete takeover of Ghana’s event landscape this Easter, was led by some of EIB’s leading brands including Kasapa FM, Agoo FM, GH One TV, and Starr FM.
Nyarkoaba Nyarko will get to host another highlife concert headed by BET nominee Kojo Antwi on Sunday.
And to crown what is expected to be a good week of an exciting EIB dose of fun, Kasapa FM’s popular Sunday afternoon show ‘Kasapa Kitchen’ will broadcast live from Nkawkaw on Easter Monday.
Organizers are optimistic of pulling a successful calendar of events.
EIB has assured sponsors and patrons of an excellent experience that is tied to its resolve of making this year’s Easter worth the buzz.
