Anyone searching for entertainment on a Tuesday night will be amazed to find the bag of surprises GTV has to offer viewers on Tuesdays between 9pm and 10pm.
Viewers would discover a whole different experience, first with TV favourite ‘It Takes 2’ which is almost followed immediately by ‘Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner’.
Both programmes are designed to put family into the phrase “family entertainment”, as they effectively bring families and friends together, and in the process, enriching and strengthening relationships.
The presenter of ‘Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner’, Doreen Andoh, Chef Solomon and their crew travel to homes of individuals who have been set up for a surprise meal by a loved one.
The chef then prepares a mouth-watering feast with assistance from the presenter for that special person.
The show has all the trappings of a cook show and spices it up nicely with human interest stories that set the viewers’ imagination running and often touching them emotionally.
This was especially so when Mrs. Judith Blankson, an administrative assistant, pulled a huge surprise on Aunty Matilda in honour of her unique qualities as a mother-in-law.
Chef Solomon prepared a sumptuous continental rice dish with soya grilled chicken, mixed vegetables and fruit fritter for the obviously flattered Auntie Matilda.
To top up the surprise, whilst they were having dinner, Gyedu Blay Ambolley appeared on the scene as the surprise guest.
Ambolley then joined the family for dinner as the group engaged in some small talk and sung an acapella to crown it all off.
This yummy reality TV show has also featured Kwabena Kwabena, Samini, Okyeame Kwame, Sidney and Wutah as surprise guests in previous episodes.
Viewers are encouraged to get involved in the programme by nominating loved ones who deserve a wonderful treat.
