Hiplife artiste, Tic Tac on Friday walked out of Gh One TV studio during an interview on its morning show, Gh Today.

According to information available to abrantepa.com, Tic Tac's decision was triggered by the fact that hosts of the show digressed from the purpose of the interview and focused on the friction between the 'Kangaroo' hit maker and dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.

A member of the team who spoke to abrantepa.com after the incident said Tic Tac had gone to Gh One to promote his songs as well as the Ayalolo project but the interview took the Shatta Wale dimension, a posture Tic Tac complained about and served notice he would leave if it continued.

"They asked him about Shatta Wale and played Shatta Wale's videos. They were not playing his (Tic Tac) videos. He told them he didn't wake up early to come promote Shatta Wale so if they don't stop, he will walk away but they kept doing that. He decided to walk away so they can promote Shatta Wale," the member of the team said.

The feud between Tic Tac and Shatta Wale started when the latter named the former as part of artistes who are not smart.

A displeased Tic Tac responded to the claim describing it as disrespectful.

“Most of the young musicians don’t respect us. I mean we who made a mark in the music industry those days.

“These days some artistes are popular and trendy because of social media so they don’t respect but when it comes to music data it count a lot, I’m saying this because the level of disrespect is too much.

"You would hear Shatta Wale speaking against Ex Doe in an interview. Can you also imagine the same Shatta Wale revealing in an interview that me, Tic Tac, I’m not smart!" he fumed on Happy FM.

In recent times, Tic Tac has released a number of songs including 'Rashida'. His 'Ayalolo' project was an initiative to create awareness ahead of the release of his 7th album and mark one year anniversary of Aayalolo since it commenced operations.
