Anibok Studios and Organized Khaoz have announced their dynamic partnership for the production of 'King of Tɛma', a feature film that marks the beginning of a new era in independent filmmaking in Ghana.
Together, these two innovative studios are launching a powerful collaboration, using limited resources to create an impactful story while inviting the community to join the journey.
King of Tɛma tells the gripping story of a young man navigating the harsh realities of life in Tema, making tough choices in a desperate bid to save his ailing mother.
The film, directed by Kobina de Graft-Johnson of Anibok Studios, is a raw and authentic look at survival, betrayal, and redemption, set against the vibrant backdrop of Ghanaian culture.
“We’re not waiting for investors or perfect conditions. With our own resources and a passion to tell this story, we’re pushing forward,” says de Graft-Johnson, Producer and Director of the film. “This is about pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps and making it happen, no matter the odds.”
Mark Cofie Jr, Founder of Organized Khaoz and Co-Producer, echoes this sentiment: “We are proving that with collaboration and determination, we can push the boundaries of what’s possible in Ghanaian filmmaking. KING OF T3MA is not just a film; it’s the beginning of a movement.”
