Ghanaian gospel artiste, Joyce Blessing has disclosed that she never received any call or a word from Anita Afriyie after her gory Christmas accident.

The artist was on her way to Kwahu in the Eastern region when she was involved in a ghastly accident. However, few days after her recovery, the gospel singer told Kumasi-based Abusua FM that many of her industry colleagues personally visited her on her hospital bed, while those who were not readily available, called her via phone to offer her support and encouragement. Joyce in her interaction indicated that Anita Afriyie on the other side did not bother to check on her.

”In fact the accident was scary and I should have even died on the spot considering the nature of it but thank God I survived,” Joyce said.

The singer mentioned that, ”I am grateful and thankful to all the musicians who checked on me, the likes of Elder Mireku, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, SP Kofi Sarpong, Ohemaa Mercy, Tagoe Sisters, Patience Nyarko and others it’s through their prayers and support that has made my recovery so easy and fast."

She also added that ”One person who surprised me most was Sonnie Badu who kept calling me day in day out to check on me despite not being in the country and I’m really grateful to him for his kind gesture”.

When asked whether she received a call from Anita Afriyie who claimed her accident was just a publicity stunt staged for hype said, “No no she didn’t call me but that isn’t necessary."

Joyce Blessing in her conversation insisted that she didn’t want to discuss Anita Afriyie because she doesn’t have any problem.

According to media reports, the accident was a deadly one but the singer believes God demonstrated his power by saving her life from the jaws of death.
