The mortal remains of Ghanaian highlife musician, Anokye Supremo popularly known as Daddy Lumba Jr has finally arrived in Accra.

In a video YEN.com.gh has sighted which is fast circulating on social media show, the body of Lumba Jr was spotted enclosed in a sealed coffin.

His manager, Isaac Kobina Zakk had already made his fans aware his body will touch down on Monday afternoon.

Anokye Supremo died in an Indian hospital following complications that arose from a brain tumour surgery.

The artiste had been in a coma for some days since the operation with surgeons hoping he was going to revive as soon as possible.

But according to Zak, who was looking after him in India, the Highlife musician had been recovering well but suffered a relapse.

Speaking in a Facebook Live interview on KOFI TV, the friend could be heard shedding tears as he narrated what happened.

Anokye had been struggling to see especially with his left eye and this according to him started after he experienced a severe headache.

Supremo in a later interview with KOFI TV indicated that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour and was losing his sight after as a result.

According to him, his doctors had told him he will need about GHC 10,000 to have that surgery. He thus asked Ghanaians to support him in raising money to foot the surgery.
