Shatta wale has debunked news concerning MUSIGA’s invitation to be part of their peace initiative.

The Musicians Union of Ghana as part of their contribution to ensure peace before, during and after the 2016 presidential elections designed a program where Musicians will submit their recorded peace songs of which some will be selected for a MUSIGA Peace Album.

It was revealed sometime back that many of the A-list musicians declined MUSIGA’s invitation to be part of this peace innitiative. Notable among them was ace musician Kojo Antwi, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

Shatta in response to this news on Pluzz 89.9fm’s showbiz morning show Ampluzz in an interview with Arnold Mensah Elavanyo stated emphatically that no one invited him to be part of the initiative.

Ace gospel musician Rev Yawson who was in the studio to speak on behalf of MUSIGA concerning the peace initiative referred Shatta Wale that Apietus has confirmed to them he sent several personal invitations to him but to no avail.

The “Chop kiss” hit maker in response to Rev Yawson’s question stated,” Appietus never called me. All he kept sending me were jokes through whatsapp and not an invite”.

He further stated that he has his peace song already and has embarked upon his peace campaign in several regions in the country and still counting.
