Asamoah Gyan's Marriage Slated This Year?

Ghana’s soccer baby-jet, Asamoah-Gyan is expected to kiss a better-half this year.

The vociferous Black-stars and Sunderland forward had been admired over the years by ladies, especially with a lady threatening to take her precious live to the Ghanaian press if Gyan repudiate in marrying her.

In an exclusive interview with the SUN newspaper in London, the baby-jet felt reluctant to comment about the issue at stake, but rather praised the almighty God for how far he has brought him. Last year Gyan’s world cup colleague Richard Kingston got married immediately after the 2010 FIFA World cup fiesta which took centre stage in South Africa. Mr. Gyan Baffour, father to the top class enigmatic attacker told Okay Fm last month that his son ‘had not introduced to him any lady for marriage.’

The father was quick to add that he expects Asamoah-Gyan to marry this year. Mr. Gyan Baffour took advantage of the platform to debunk rumour concerning his son being a womanizer.

The baby-jet who is the last born of the family, had over the years played for Liberty Professionals in Dansoman, Accra, Ghana. He then moved to Italy and featured for clubs such as Modenna, Chievo Verona, and Udinese. Gyan then moved to Rennais in France. After a splendid world cup performance in South Africa, he caught the eye of Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, hence his move to England.

He recently won the most coveted BBC African Footballer of the year Award 2010 after Samuel Osei Kufour and Michael Essien had already achieved that feat. In light of the above, more ladies have gone wild at the hearing of the news. Most divas who spoke to the Analyzer newspaper expressed happiness at the news and were all optimistic of their chances to become the lucky person.

Asamoah Gyan thanked all his fans for their unflinching support and promised a splendid show this year.
