Captain of the senior national team (Black Stars) cum musician, Asamoah Gyan, and his legal team has come out to quash rumors of him paying an amount reported to be around $2m to bail Stonebwoy out of Zylofon media after reports that the dancehall guru is parting ways with the record label.

There have been reports from some media outfits that Asamoah Gyan is willing to pay an amount of $2m that will help Stonebwoy bail himself out of Zylofon media. These reports have infuriated Baby Jet as he is affectionately called and the former Udinese star has not taken it lightly at all.

In a statement released and sighted by zionfelix.net on the footballer’s twitter account, Asamoah Gyan has warned the media to desist from spreading any false reports concerning himself, Stonebwoy and the CEO of Zylofon media, Nana Appiah Mensah who he said has a good personal and working relationship with.

The statemate further asked the publishers to ‘retract and withdraw the fake news from circulation immediately’. Stonebwoy recently released a banger titled ‘Dirty Enemies’ which features Asamoah Gyan. The song is currently enjoying massive airplay.

“The management of Mr. Asamoah Gyan’s office has read the false or fake news which places M. Gyan into the Stonebwoy and Zylofon Media “Fracas”.

We want to state emphatically Mr Asamoah Gyan has a very good personal working relationship with Stonebwoy and Nana Appiah, the CEO of Zylofon Media. Mr. Asamoah Gyan is deeply interested in keeping same positively strong and ongoing.

We are asking the publishers to retract and withdraw the fake news from circulation immediately. Mr Asamoah Gyan hasn’t been approached by any representation from Stonebwoy nor does he want to engage in controversy (if any) between the said artiste and the Zylofon Media.

We have drawn our legal team’s attention to this fake news and palpable untruth. Effective today we are advising the publishers of this story to desist from circulating this falsehood and to retract and apologize to Mr Asamoah Gyan immediately.

We need good press and information on and about the public-spirited and selfless work Mr Asamoah Gyan continues to undertake or perform our country, motherland Ghana"
