Ghanaian comedian DKB has joined the list of celebrities who have openly shared that they either do not know their fathers or have had no relationship with them.
This comes on the back of Ghanaian influencer Gisela Amponsah's spiteful comments about her father and how they have had a bitter relationship since childhood.
Earlier in Gisela’s submission to the ‘Rants, Bants, and Confession’ podcast, she condemned her father, whom she described as a demon and non-existent in her life.
In her outbursts, she detailed how she is the eldest child out of five siblings, but her father has detested her since childhood.
Gisela, now 25, said she had not seen her father since Senior High School, adding that she isn't a priority to him.
However, DKB, who finds this development relatable, has taken to Twitter to also share bits of his story.
The comedian has asked Gisela to count herself lucky for at least having an idea of who her father is, adding, "At 38 I still don't know my father. Appreciate yours no matter what."
He continued, "I finally called him, but he wasn't in Accra. I begged him to send his picture or selfie, and he said his camera's disposition isn't progressive. Last I heard, he works with the Registry of Catholic University-Sunyani."
