‘Atinka FM has come to stay’

Atinka FM was established to give people in Accra and its environs variety as most radio stations in the city have been doing almost the same thing, General Manager of Atinka FM, Emmanuel Kyei Boate, has disclosed.

According to him, the presence of Atinka FMhas caught the attention of a large number of radio listeners in Accra and beyond because of its style of operation.

Speaking in an interview with BEATWAVES in Accra, Mr Kyei Boate mentioned that Atinka FMis committed to providing listeners with educative and entertaining programmes, adding, “We want to give listeners in the metropolis the best on radio. We also want to be different from others and also give our audiences and clients quality service for their time and money.”

He stressed that the station which broadcasts 80 percent of local music and programmes, and 20 percent of others including French language, is managed by a team of experts from administration, finance, legal and marketing.

The general manager further told BEATWAVES that though Atinka FM is gradually making impact on the scene, its management would continue to work extra hard until the station becomes the market leader.
