Ghanaian actress Harriet Naa Akleh Okanteh, known for her roles in Efiewura and Key Soap Concert Party, has recounted the love journey she shared with the late comic actor Bob Santo.

According to Auntie Bee, she dated the actor, born John Evans Kwadwo Bosompem, who died in 2002 shortly after a trip outside Ghana with colleagues.

Speaking about their six-year love affair that was kept away from prying eyes, Auntie Bee described the late actor as a very romantic person until death laid its icy hands on him.

“Santo was the leader of our group, and I was engaged in an amorous relationship with him. Even though other actors were interested, they were scared because I was already dating their leader.

"I feared if I rejected his proposal, I could be fired. We dated for six years. He was a very good person,” she revealed on Kingdom FM, monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

Auntie Bee revealed that Santo categorically told her that he was never prepared to marry her in addition to his two wives for fear it might not end well.

“He already had two wives and revealed that to me, and I understood him. I accepted the relationship for fear that I could be fired if I did otherwise. His wives knew I was Santo’s side chick, and they were cool. We never had any grudge, and I never verbally abused either of the two,” she disclosed.
