BGT 17: Afronitaaa's message of gratitude after securing 3rd place

Ghanaian dance sensation Afronitaaa has taken to social media to express her profound gratitude for the life-changing experience and the overwhelming support she received through her participation in the 17th season of Britain's Got Talent.

Afronitaa (real name: Danita Yeboah) and her protégé, 7-year-old Abigail Adjiri, successfully represented Ghana in the 17th season of the ITV competition and made the country proud by clinching 3rd place.

In her post on Instagram on June 4, Afronitaaa thanked everyone who supported her journey, from prayers and well-wishes to votes that propelled her to the top three.

She specifically acknowledged her fans, whom she affectionately calls 'Stargyal Galaxy', for their unwavering support in what she described as a ‘life-changing opportunity.’

“I cannot express how grateful and thankful I am to God for this life-changing opportunity He brought our way! What a testimony to render! Winning 3rd place in the Britain’s Got Talent Season 17 is no joke!

“Thank you to you all! I’m so so sooo grateful, you have no idea! The amount of love I have received in these past few days has been overwhelming! The support has been mind-blowing!

“In all things, we give thanks! We have made history once again, more to come. The rest will follow! Stargyal Galaxy, Thank you!!!

“Every single person that has prayed for us, posted us, wished us well and voted for us, we say a very big thank you,” she shared.

Although they didn't win the top prize, their performances throughout the competition impressed the judges and earned global recognition for Ghana.

They were celebrated on Britain's Got Talent's Instagram, and their success has highlighted Ghanaian dance and culture internationally.

Abigail, a seven-year-old deaf dancer, had previously won Talented Kidz Season 14.

Social media has been abuzz with congratulatory messages for their significant accomplishments.

Notable personalities, including Wesley Girls Senior High School, the University of Ghana, and former President John Dramani Mahama, have sent congratulatory messages to the duo.
