While many industry stakeholders still debate about what the authentic Ghanaian sound is, an up-and-coming artiste has taken over social media.

A video shared by popular Ghanaian social media influencer KalyJay showcased a young musician at an event, playing a guitar and singing an impressive tune that continues to captivate audiences both online and offline.

The song, titled 'Pamper You,' has been making waves on TikTok, Twitter, and various other social media platforms.

The alluring tune and sing-along lyrics have led many listeners to ask, "Who sang this?"

'Pamper You' was composed and performed by Raphael Somaila Ibrahim Bakalakum Dabri, known artistically as Baka Dabri or Busanga.

The multi-faceted Ghanaian musician specializes in Afrofusion, Highlife, and Reggae.

A close listen to Baka Dabri's music shows how his tunes are influenced by his diverse life experiences, blending African rhythms with brilliant lyrics, all delivered through an unforgettable natural voice.

His simple but memorable lyrics, a blend of English, Pidgin, Hausa, and Twi, allow him to quickly connect with his listeners, no matter who they are, as they identify with his characters and can't help but sing along.

A brief look at his artiste profile shows that his musical journey reached a significant milestone with the release of his debut EP "Busangani Abrante3" in January 2022.
