Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hòn. Barbara Oteng Gyasi has paid a courtesy call on some veteran movie stars.

She was joined by the Executive Secretary of National Film Authority, Juliet Yaa Asantewaa Asante and President of the Creative Arts Council, Mark Okraku-Mantey to present food items to the long-serving filmmakers.

Juliet Yaa Asantewaa Asante, Executive Secretary of National Film Authority disclosed to Kasapafmonline.com that the gesture was in acknowledgement of the veteran movie stars’ contributions to the movie industry during their active days.

According to her, almost thirty-one [31] veteran Actors and Actresses would benefit from this said donation made by the Minister.

Actors to receive these donations include Madam Grace Nortey, Grace Omaboe, Emmanuel Armah, King Aboagye Brenya, Mr Twumasi, Mr Opoku Godfred, Gifty Doe, Afriyie Forson, Maa Dora, Lydia Ohene, Akua Badu, Alice Nketia and Rose.

The rest are, Ama Buabeng, Emery Brown, Kojo Dadson, Fred Amugi, Dzifa Glikpoe, William Addo, Guy Boakye, Monica Quarcopome, Kofi Laing, William Opare, Doris Okran, Cecilia Mensah, Paa George, Stella Bondzie, Cecilia A. Adu, Victoria Atieku, Eva Atagba and Ama Akwei.
