VGMA 2017 “Best New Artiste” Fancy Gadam last Sunday was the toast of the several fans who throng the Tamale Sports Stadium for its renaming after the late Vice President of Ghana H.E Aliu Mahama.

The ‘Total Cheat’ hitmaker was joined by the current Vice President of Ghana H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to perform one of his widely known song “Nawuni Yiko”, to which the crowd sang along.

Fancy Gadam is a strong contender for the Vodafone Ghana Music awards 2018 artiste of the year after filling the Kumasi Sports Stadium, Bokum Sports Arena and Tamale Sports Stadium with the Gadam Nation Concert.

Born Ahmed Mujahid Bello, Fancy is also a recipient of a BASS Award for Discovery of the Year, 2017 VGMA Best New Act, as well as a 2016 JIGWE award for Best New Artist, and has been associated with the likes of Medikal, Wiyaala, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie among others.

Fancy is the author of several hit songs including Total Cheat (featuring Sarkodie), off his 2017 album “Mujahid’.

He is also set to release his collaborations with Patoranking, Mr.Ezy and R2bees before ending of December 2018.
