Actor Abraham K. Davies, better known as Salinko has expressed concern over the fact that founder of the Progressive People’s Party, PPP, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom does not attend social functions and mingle with the grassroots.
The Kumawood actor who sought to enter parliament on the ticket of the Progressive People’s Party, PPP, during the December 2016 general election also opined that, Mr Nduom is a fine gentleman with excellent policies to help propel Ghana to greater heights, but he rarely shares his views publicly or even attend functions.
According to him, the seasoned politician is imbued with lots of experiences he can enrich the nation with if he pushes forth his ideologies on matters affecting the country.
He thus appealed to Mr Nduom to fraternize with the grassroots to present his good thoughts and policies to them.
Salino observed that the agenda of Papa Kwesi Nduom’s party is solid but the masses will only get to appreciate it when they encounter their leader.
“I want to appeal to Mr Nduom to open up to the masses, especially to the grassroots. It’s amazing what he wants to do for Ghana through his party, PPP. But he can only realize these when he makes himself available to communities across the country,” he said on UTV’s McBrown’s Kitchen.
He thus urged the politician cum business mogul to embrace local communities and familiarize with them as they may want to experience a new Ghana under his leadership come 2020.
