The Central Regional Minister said in an interview that “Cape Coast is the home of PANAFEST and we must accord it the reverence and relevance it deserves.
“It is a big event with the potential of bringing in thousands of tourists from across the globe to our beautiful and historic region. It is for this reason that my outfit, the Secretariat and the Tourism Ministry thought it prudent to appoint Afua, our ambassador to augment the works of the Secretariat.”
At the launch of this year’s event in Cape Coast recently, Deputy Executive Secretary, PANAFEST Foundation, Kojo Ampah Sahara indicated that “We are looking at the era that PANAFEST would be discussed in contemporary terms and involve the youth more as well as opinion leaders.”
