Multiple award winning Singer Becca has once again proven her consistent relevance in a male dominated music industry after she earned two nominations at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards UK.
The songstress who was away from the music scene for close to a year after marriage and for maternity dropped two major singles, Gina and Magic during that period.
Despite not being in the best of conditions to take up active promos, these songs especially ‘GINA’ featuring made a lot of waves getting on charts around the continent and getting a lot of playtime on radio and TV.
It therefore came as no surprise when the ‘Na Wash’ hitmaker was announced in the ‘Female Vocalist of the year’ and ‘Best Music Video of the year’ categories at the official launch and nominees announcement of this year’s Ghana Music Awards UK.
The Launch and nominees announcement for the 4th Ghana Music Awards UK which took place at the Accra City Hotel last Thursday saw performances from Kofi Sarpong, Bless, Kumi Guitar and more with lots of industry players present to grace the occasion. The main event will be held in London on October 5, 2019.
Becca has made a sensational comeback into the music business after her time away with a big song.
Her latest single ‘Driving License’ featuring Shatta Wale has announced her presence back in the game as the song continues to move up the music charts and trends.
