Bernard Amankwah donates to Village Of Hope

Gospel music icon, Bernard Amankwah, has donated a number of items to the Village of Hope at Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region, last Saturday.

The items donated include sound equipment, detergents, bags of rice and a large quantity of mineral water worth over GH¢ 10,000.

Presenting the items to the management of Village of Hope Orphanage, Bernard disclosed that the donation was to help bring comfort to the inmates.

Bernard Amankwah, who is also the founder of His Presence Ministry, added that the donation was a dream come true, assuring the orphanage of more of such donations in the future.

He urged those who have been blessed with wealth to extend a helping hand to the less-privileged in the society.

Receiving the items, the Director of Village of Hope Orphanage, Kwaku Sarkodie, lauded the kind gesture, which, according to him, would go a long way to help the facility continue fulfilling its aim of shaping the children’s future so that they can contribute to the development of their communities and the country.

He commended Bernard Amankwah for the kind gesture, and urged other benevolent persons and organisations to assist the orphanage.

Mr Sarkodie appealed to the government to offer scholarships to the students at the orphanage homes.
